"SEAQuest" Dark Ride Teaser Trailer
The Challenge
United Parks approached us to promote their new dark ride attraction, SEAQuest. They needed a cinematic teaser trailer and a suite of hero visuals that could generate excitement online, on social, and across digital platforms. The ask: deliver a bold, high-impact campaign that could capture the mystery and wonder of an underwater adventure - all within a tight production window.
Our Approach
Worldbuilding in Unreal Engine
We built immersive deep-sea environments inspired by Driftwave’s narrative — coral reefs, shipwrecks, bioluminescent zones, and more. These environments served as the cinematic canvas for our trailer.

Cinematic Trailer Production
Using in-engine cameras and custom sequences, we crafted a 30-second trailer that mirrors the feel of a theatrical movie preview. The pacing, audio, and visual style were designed to build intrigue and emotional pull.

Hero Visual Development
We created standalone hero key visuals by blending rendered environments with AI-assisted enhancements (Firefly) and compositing in Photoshop. These became campaign centerpieces for both digital ads and social content.

Platform-Ready Delivery
All assets were resized and reformatted for today’s essential ratios — widescreen (16:9), square (4:5), and vertical (9:16). This gave United Parks a plug-and-play toolkit for online presence.

Fast-Track Production
From kick-off to delivery, the entire campaign was produced in just 30 days.

The Solution
We created a full Unreal Engine 3D environment to design, animate, and render cinematic sequences that became the backbone of a 30-second teaser trailer. To extend the campaign’s reach, we developed key hero visuals using a mix of Unreal Engine renders, Adobe Firefly, and Photoshop. Each asset was carefully adapted for multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 4:5, 9:16), ensuring optimized impact across platforms from YouTube to Instagram.
